"Beautiful nature"

The Tamwood Language School was very good, especially Shelly who runs the school. She is very kind to all new students at their first day in school. Location of school is good because the school is located in village square, a little busy part of village. The school organizes a program for every day so everyone can choose what he/she wants to do. Nature around whistler is amazing :)

I had 4 lectors during my course: Candis, Paul, Sarah and Katrina. My best was Paul because lessons with him were funny. Unfortunately he is for pre-intermediate. All were good :)

I lived with a family – a mom and her 2 boys. The room was clean but I didn´t like the meal from my host mother (or any food). Perhaps I had different ideas about the amount of food which I paid for.

One more note: I had transport from airport to Whistler and nobody was there when I arrived. I had to wait about 1 hour for my transport. Nobody contacted me about delay.

All of our homes are visited and evaluated by our Accommodation Manager. We suggest that students start their homestay at least 2 days before their school program begins, in order to adjust to their new environment.

Homestay students are placed with carefully selected Canadian families that offer a secure and friendly environment. The host family provides basic information on how to function in Canada such as: how to use the bus system to go to and from school, where to shop, and how to get to such places as the local library, the neighborhood recreation centre, and the nearest pharmacy.
