IELTS PREPARATION COURSE (COURSE CODE 092869G)

The IELTS Preparation course is a 20 hour/week course designed to prepare students to undertake the IELTS English test. Students who wish to enroll in the program should demonstrate at least an intermediate level of English skills. The IELTS preparation course aims to:

Familiarise students with all elements of the IELTS test.
Provide test taking strategies to maximize student band scores.
Assist students to achieve the band score they need.
Duration: 12 weeks, depending on level

Testing: On entering the college the student will be given a placement test to determine whether he/she is ready to join an IELTS class and in which areas of the test he/she needs to pay particular attention. Throughout the course students’ progress will be monitored with materials similar to those used in the real test.

Astley English College in Sydney is a 2-minute walk from Town Hall station and a 5-minute walk from Wynard station. It is in the heart of Sydney with many restaurants, bars, cinemas and fashionable shops at our doorstep and a 5-minute walk from Sydney's famous Darling Harbour.

The school's excellent location means you are never more than a short walk away from some of the most iconic Australian landmarks, such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, as well as the famous Sydney Tower, from where you can enjoy a beautiful 360 degrees view of the city's skyline.

"Happy and cool!"

The school is diverse because there are many students who come from Thailand, China, Japan, etc. Because of the diversity, we get some holiday events such as Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and more.

An English language courses are great here. I have taken my English courses here, my teachers are very friendly and also with the staffs in school.

The location of school, it is in the city center!!
You can walk to school if you live in the city or take a train to Town hall station.

Moreover, the building is near a shopping centre and food court so is it very comfortable for you.
