Malay is an easier language to study compare to English and Mandarin which you may need to spend 300 hours before you can use any of the latter in simple conversation, while for Malay, you can just spend around 100 hours studying before you are able to do so. This is because Malay does not use past and past participle verbs.

This course is meant for individuals who do not speak Malay and are interested in obtaining the necessary language skills for everyday communication. The course teaches students basic vocabulary needed to carry out structured and complete conversations. Each unit being introduced is selected and processed to meet the daily needs of students in conversation. At the same time, the students are exposed to specific techniques to ensure that they understand the proper structure of sentences.
