The Semi-Intensive course is not suitable for absolute beginners but for those who really wish to improve their English.
With a strong skills-based focus, the afternoon programme on Monday and Tuesday consists of relevant, student-centred content which is easy to relate to and engage with. Speaking, writing, reading and listening are key parts of it as well as interesting and diverse content focusing on exploring the South African culture and enriching local experience.

2 afternoons remain free for activities and leisure.

You can expect to:

- learn how to cope in everyday situations
- better understand the English language
- improve your writing skills
- explore current topics through discussions
- improve your fluency
- learn about South African culture

The City Centre Residence is located in a pedestrian area in the very heart of Cape Town, offering modern, functional and high-comfort accommodation for a low budget.
Each mini apartment is equipped with an en-suite bathroom and a kitchen for self-catering purposes.

Being right in the centre of the city, it is only a short walk to many tourist highlights as well as supermarkets, restaurants, banks, and a bus and train station.

This residence is mainly used by younger students (18 to 25) and is therefore not recommended for students over the age of 25.
