At Nagoya JaLS, we give you many chances to actually speak Japanese. It is no fun just repeating what the teacher says. We want you to be thinking, “How do you say this, in that situation” during class time. No matter if you are studying Japanese for the first time, or if you have already started, our goal is to help you get better at using Japanese in a short time. For efficient oral practice, this program is for you!

Kyoto JaLS is located just a 1-minute walk from Karasuma Station and Shijo Station, right in the center of Kyoto. We specialize in short-term Japanese language study, offering students the chance to experience life in Japan’s cultural heart. Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying Japanese in Sapporo. These homes are often between 30-60 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Students must be 14 years old and older.
